Quest: International Malamute of Action!

There's not much going on with the falcons yet, and even our backyard birds have been foraging elsewhere lately. So I thought I'd post a few shots of the dogs that I took late last year, mostly as a workout for my new camera.

As is her wont these days, Tessa moves at a stately pace, whilst her sophomore step-brother bounds about with the exuberance of youth:

Tessa played terrapin to Quest's hare, preferring to stick close to her daddy as Quest sprinted ahead:

Here's Quest cooling his heels, but not for long:

As soon as he spots Tessa he's off again, racing to see whatever she's found:

Tessa, aloof as ever, personifies the mature Malamute as she marches toward her thirteenth birthday...

We still have Am Kestrels around and just last weekend we had a Merlin flying around Catt. Co. chasing some Starlings! Love your puppy photos!

I absolutely love huskies. It seems that yours had some fun in the snow. I hope it goes better with the falcons soon though.
